The plot thickens! But at least I have a workaround for the moment if I want to use some of those Synclavier sounds.
Arturia analog lab 3 test tone works but mac os x#
Analog Lab 2 works on computers equipped with Windows 7 or later and Mac OS X 10.8 or later. Registering is important because it lets you download and activate Analog Lab 2, as well as the Arturia MIDI Control. Our Vox goes well beyond the original by adding the more drawbars, expanded.

Strange!!!ĮDIT 2: on an impulse, I tried it hosted within NI Komplete Kontrol, within Sonar. the Ska and Two-tone label sounds of the 70’s and 80’s. Not a showstopper but it's kind of making me wary about an upgrade if I can't be sure the plugins will all work.ĮDIT: did a full uninstall and reinstall of AL2 and the situation is the same. Audio is an E-MU 1616m cardbus running on a generic cardbus-to-PCI adaptor, which seems crazy but it works perfectly with everything else I've ever thrown at it (which is a lot). Great controller, just wished analog lab was more.
Arturia analog lab 3 test tone works but mod#
Overall it works as a controller for existing Ableton sounds, has octave shift and pads for beats, mod and pitch wheels return to center on their own. Choose from a massive selection of best vintage & modern presets using intuitive smart-filter browsing, and breathe new life into your mix with the much-loved sounds of faithfully emulated classics. This is a relatively old machine, an Intel Q6600 with 8 gig of generic RAM, a Gigabyte motherboard (can't find the model just now), NVidia GeForce 7300 SE video card. The analog lab has some really powerful synth sounds on its own - a real tease, unfortunately if you use a mac w/Live 8 you'll have some issues. Analog Lab V gives you instant access to the most iconic synth and keyboard sounds of all time, fresh from our award-winning V Collection.

Though that's strange since the Synclavier demo works fine in the same project, and the AL2 plugins work on the same hardware under Ableton Live 9. So it's either a faulty installation - I'm about to try an uninstall and reinstall - or it's some sort of hardware incompatibility.

I also had confirmation from another Sonar user with the same software setup as me - newest ('Early Access') build of Sonar Platinum 64 on Win10 64, and it works fine for him.
